i coincidentally have been listening to a lot of their tracks lately, and started noticing that i identified with a lot of them.

I identified with Head like a Hole.. I will always remember it for many reasons.

When I bought it, that was what I was feeling about jw-stuff/religion.

Were Trent screams 'head like a hole , Id rather die than give you control

Bow down before the one you serve, you're going to get what you deserve!'

That was my mantra then. I have calmed down some. :-)

Has anyone heard the story that Trent Reznor and Tori Amos colabraited together to form a group called 'Jehovah kill' in the early 90's?

I sure do. I was shocked to say the least. I was little still and clearly remembering the taste of Ivory soap for saying words I heard at school, but didnt understand.

That's all I thought , 'Hey, were's the soap? it's your turn now.' LOL

Gotta love them, at least it wasnt hot sause. Ouchiewawa...Cal Tjader in the background.. { i make joke}

after all this talk of puncuation and spelling i feel we of the delesac glory should stand together.. against a world of sneering nerdy anorak types.

in short the types that end up being accountants and maths/ english teachers.

Damn...I'm exsplosivly dyslexic. It makes for some dumb rendations of words that I have only read, never spoken. Words seem more of a pattern of figures.

Like a book or movie might be described as a whodoneit. My mind reads woodnut. Cant help but laugh along as I get a correction on a word.

Yep, I've watched quiet a few good woodnuts on TCM. Love old movies.

Smile... JK, I am DAMed. So is my Mom. iT's all her fault.

so, jwn-ers, how many "jehova witness", "jehova witneses", or "jehovas' witness"es are you friends with on fb?.

I like reading it too.

It sometimes explaines why my family is feeling a certain way or if they have a different attitude that week.

Also, reading her comments helped me see the heavy use of the Old Testament and how very little attention is payed to Jesus.

Thank you Blondie for doing this for all of us for so many years.

here are a few tips from a casino expert about slot machines:.

if someone hits a big payout at a machine that you just left, don't think that you "missed" a payout.

you would not have gotten that payout if you had been playing because you wouldn't have pulled the slot machine at the exact fraction of a second that the other person did.. .

I was on a free business trip to Sin City. Everything compt , including a nice amount to gamble with. I cashed that part in and went to the cigar shop and bought a beautiful German pen. Ahh extasy of the digits...smile..

has anyone, other than me, tried to get your friends/loved ones to prove 1919?.

did they really try to prove it to you or did they write you off as hopelessly lost or somewhere in between?

as some of you are aware, i have been trying to get my wife to prove it to me, and if not her, another believing jehovahs witness.

I tried asking , then explaining, my views on 1914/607 with my father . His responce was, "You have to look at the Big Picture."

I asked what he meant be that, he wouldn't answer and wanted to just drop the subject. He wasn't annoyed with the question, or didn't make me feel bad for asking or use the A. word.

My impression still is, that he was already aware, and this is what he tells himself.

This was about ten years ago, I often wonder what he has thought about all the different generation changes since that conversation.
